In the heart of the Mounts of Cantal in the Jordanne Valley, between Aurillac and the Puy Mary, come and visit the village and its church.
Through a monumental work of more than 100 m², discover the life of Gerbert, this child of the country, who became the first French Pope under the name of Sylvester II, known as the Pope of the Year 1000, illustrious scientist, "maker of kings ”. These frescoes, by the Hungarian painter Gábor Szinte produced in 2005, depict the great periods of Gerbert's life.
