Description
A departmental hiking festival, organized by the Departmental Hiking Committee in partnership with the association “Les Pas de la Cère”: a day dedicated to walking for everyone, featuring rollerblading, Nordic walking, and hiking.
Starting at 8:30 a.m.: Welcome reception. Welcome drinks provided by the Vic-sur-Cère Town Hall.
9:00 a.m.: Guided hikes. Short hike: Croix de Maisonne. Long hike: Rocher des Pendus + Croix de Maisonne.
10:00 a.m.: Introduction to Nordic walking / “Life-Saving First Aid” workshop
11:00 a.m.: Introduction to rollerblading
1:30 p.m.: Guided hike: Rocher des Pendus and continuation of the long hike.
2:00 p.m.: “Life-Saving First Aid” awareness session
2:30 p.m.: Introduction to “Rando Santé”
3:00 p.m.: Introduction to Nordic walking
5:00 PM: End
Free workshops and booths all day long: Compass and map reading, trail marking, hiker’s code of conduct, environmental awareness, trail preservation, digital tools, gear and essentials, children’s games
Refreshments and light snacks available for purchase on-site all day
IMPORTANT: For all the activities listed above, space is limited; it’s important to register as soon as possible if you’d like to participate.
