Description
Three days of entertainment for the village fête: theater, pétanque competition, garage sale, musical entertainment, meals, small funfair, fireworks.
Friday, July 31:
7:00 p.m.: Festive cocktail reception at the community hall to kick off the weekend.
8:30 p.m.: Belote tournament with cheese soup at the community hall (Registration: €16).
Saturday, August 1:
1:00 p.m.: Pétanque tournament at the community hall (Registration: €10 per team).
3:00 p.m.: Walking tour of the village of Thiézac on the theme of “The History of Thiézac Through Cheese,” featuring tastings of Thiézac cheeses. Meet at the community hall.
6:00 p.m.: Parade of decorated trucks.
7:30 p.m.: Cocktails and dinner with live music at the village hall (Grilled meats / French fries / Dessert: €10) – Hosted by the band “Les Z’odettes” (’80s and ’90s vibe).
11:00 PM: Fireworks display visible from the Thiézac gas station (/!\ subject to prefectural authorization).
11:30 PM: Disco night.
Sunday, August 2:
8:30 a.m.: Tripe breakfast on the church square.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. and throughout the day: exhibition of decorated and customized trucks with entertainment by the band “La Banda’mi” / duck fishing, rifle shooting, and cotton candy / raffle.
11:00 a.m.: Mass accompanied by “Les Trompes de Murat” (hunting horns) in the church.
12:00 p.m.: Award ceremony for the flower-decorated houses, presented by the Mayor of Thiézac.
12:30 p.m.: Festive meal by reservation (adults: €20; children under 10: €12).
3:00 p.m.: Folk dance performance.
4:30 p.m.: Complimentary snack for children.
6:30 p.m.: Closing celebration with “La Banda’mi.” Fast food available on-site (grilled meats/fries).
